We’re back with our monthly text about good reasons to send text messages to clients. Let’s look at what interesting occasions we have in April.

3rd April

This day is a fun unofficial holiday – World Party Day, also, known as P-Day. Parties are popular all over the world, because people recharge their batteries, chat or just have a good time at such events. Of course, this is a good reason to please your customers. So don’t forget your SMS mail-out.

“April 3 is World Party Day;  a great reason to get together with friends and have a good time. We are going to have the greatest party of the year at our bar. Come and set the night on fire with us!”

5th April

International Soup Day is one of the most delicious holidays of the year. In the national cuisine of any country there are recipes for this dish. Soup is prepared both in summer and in winter. There are approximately 150 types of soup in the world, which are subdivided into more than a thousand species, with each species having options.

On this day, you can offer your customers a discount on all soups that are served in your café/restaurant/etc. You can also hold contests for the best homemade soup recipe.

“Your signature dish is soup? Can’t you imagine lunch without this dish? Then take part in our competition for the best recipe for homemade soup. On April 5, International soup day, we will have a tasting of soups prepared by our participants. Details on our site[link]”

13th April

World Rock-n-roll Day is a celebration of like-minded people for whom rock and roll has become not only music, but a style and way of life.

This holiday is a good reason to organize a rock concert in your establishment. You can also hold a quiz on the history of rock and rock musicians.

“Do you love rock music and know all rock musicians? Take part in our rock quiz. Also, on April 13 you will find a rock concert and other contests in our bar”

29th April

Every year on April 29, International Dance Day is celebrated around the world. This holiday, dedicated to all styles of dance, began to be celebrated in 1982 on the initiative of the UNESCO International Dance Council (CID).

The main idea of this holiday is the unification of all dance styles as a single art form, and the Day of Dance itself is an occasion to celebrate it. Also, it’s an ability to overcome all political, cultural and ethnic boundaries, an ability to unite people in the name of friendship and peace, allowing them to speak the same language – the language of dance.

Even if you don’t have a direct relationship to dancing, you can celebrate this day. For example, you can name some drinks and dishes in your cafe in honor of certain dance styles and offer a discount on them.

“On April 29, the whole world celebrates an International day of dancing. We are no exception. Look out for dishes and drinks in our menu named after dance styles, and get a discount on them”

30th April

International Jazz Day 2019 is celebrated on April 30. This day is celebrated by those who love music and are fond of the unique rhythms and improvisation of jazz, a style of music they believe symbolizes peace and unity.

The holiday is celebrated in a big way in all countries of the world. On this day, various events take place; from live concerts of amateur groups to performances and master classes by famous jazz musicians. Every year a different city is International Jazz Capital for the day. This year the honour goes to Sydney, Australia.

As on International Rock Day, you could, organize a concert or a jazz quiz. Create an appropriate atmosphere and invite guests. Your party may even be themed, dedicated to a certain significant time in the history of jazz.

“The thirties of the last century saw the flowering of jazz. On International Jazz Day, the 30th of April, we’re holding a themed party devoted to this period of history. We invite you to plunge into this extraordinary atmosphere, listen to the best jazz pieces of that era and just have a good time with us. Free entrance in period costume”

Of course, in April there are many more interesting events. We have just picked out a few of them. Find your own good reasons to send text messages to your clients. We’ll be back with more in May.
